Enjoy Who You Are

I feel bad for you, for the girl, boy, trying to change who you are to fit a person’s expectations. One day that mortal will die, travel far away, or disappear, and you’ll be stuck with a version of you that you don’t recognise, a person you were not called to be.

We are not called to impress people, but sometimes we have to, still whatever happens, make sure you always keep a greater portion of your uniqueness, of who you are, because that’s who you will truly live with for the rest of your life :*

And whatever improvements you make, ensure that you are making them for yourself, cos you’ll never get bored with better versions of you.

Enjoy who you are!

Getting Your Life Back

If you get so bent out of shape that you forget who you are, at least don’t forget who God is.

Scriptures say that they that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits, stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

If things don’t work out this time, who knows, they could work out the next time, and if this particular endeavour still yields nothing, don’t get mad, don’t get mad at God, don’t be mad at yourself, this heavenly Father knows how to make it up to you, and He will.

So go back out there, don’t quit, put your make up on, get your hair ready, face the world, look straight in the mirror and remind yourself of whose daughter/son you are.

SAVE FOOD, SELL BRAINS!!!

One of the ways Nigeria can stay ahead or keep pace with Energy and I.T innovations around the world, is by maximising the time and potentials of our youths.

Our young ones and students are very innovative, industrious, quick to learn. They just need an opportunity, someone to believe in them and send them to a place where they can develop their skills and interests.

They can go from repairing TVs and computers and cars to building our own, they are all around computer village, selling bootleg softwares or downloads, stealing machine parts or selling just about anything on the streets.

This energy and passion can be channelled to mind-blowing Energy, I.T and other innovative projects. WE ARE WASTING THEIR YEARS. We encourage our own backwardness, youth frustration and eventually, crimes.

When will the first Nigerian or African car be built, or computers not just assembled here, but made here. Keep the African Child’s passion alive. SSCE, JAMB, Post UME, they’re just too much. Two JAMBs by one smart student can translate to 50 years of backwardness for the continent.

We never know, who that one giant is, so let’s rescue as many as we can. The school is not the place where you gain knowledge, there is currently knowledge everywhere. But the school helps you think critically and encourage never-before-seen modes of thinking and creativity. So we should also save the system from traditions and old methods or do or die answers to questions by old teachers and professors who fail to evolve with their profession. Or the ones who send students out of the class for asking too many challenging questions.

Questions lead to research and discovery, young minds are curious. This is our chance.

EXPORTS CAN EXCEED IMPORT, WE HAVE SO MUCH MORE WE SHOULD BE SELLING TO THE WORLD.
