Vote for issues! View the complete manifesto here.

Even though Schumpeter’s evaluation of the ordinary person’s thoughts on political affairs would cause a critical mind to devalue democracy because it paints an unattractive picture of the typical voter,

“The typical citizen drops down to a lower level of mental performance as soon as he enters the political field. He argues and analyzes in a way which he would readily recognize as infantile within the sphere of his real interests. He becomes a primitive again” (1942)

it is possible to save this situation if voters can carefully study and analyze the interests and issues that will be addressed by their candidate, having access to this is especially one step towards transparency and accountability.

If voter’s need a scorecard against which they can give points to or take points away from their candidate or incumbent, it should be the manifesto.

We are honored to present to you, this post, with a link to Sanwo-Olu’s manifesto and we pray that God gives him more wisdom, strength and the right team to achieve these and beyond.
